Price 12-17
The "Tu l'as lu" or 12-17 Crédit Agricole Centre-France Prize rewards a writer for middle school students (12-14 years old) and another for high school students (15-17 years old). The winners are French-speaking authors.
A children's literature prize
Supported by Crédit Agricole Centre-France, the Brive Book Fair awards two prizes to authors of children's literature. The jury is made up of experts from these age groups since they are young middle and high school students from Brive-la-Gaillarde, who after reading the works of the selected authors debate them with the librarians and librarians to establish the prize list!
Before 1998, the 12-17 prize for children's literature was awarded jointly to a Quebec author and a French author as part of the 12/17 Brive-Montréal Prize.

2024 Edition
The winners of the 2024 edition are: Amélie ANTOINE for his chilling thriller"Don't you see anything coming?" published by Syros (selection 12-14 years) and Elise FONTENAILLE for his historical and moving novel "Missak and Mélinée: a story of the Red Poster" published in Rouergue (selection 15-17 years).
Their prizes will be presented to them at the Book Fair, Saturday November 9 at 15 p.m. at the Espace des Trois provinces, in the presence of the young people on the jury.
- Don't you see anything coming? is a shocking novel about the mechanism of school bullying.
Halfway between fiction and history, Missak and Mélinée tells the story of twenty-three heroes who resisted Nazi Germany and fought to the end for their freedom. A humanist novel that also touches on poetry and love that touched and inspired the members of the jury, appealing even to those who, a priori, did not like the story!
