For Heritage Days, the Bovetti chocolate factory takes you back to the origins of cocoa through the ancestral methods of preparing our chocolate drink, formerly called “xocoatl”.
From the cold, energizing drinks of Native Americans to modern sweet treats, the cocoa drink has undergone many evolutions.
Throughout the travels and discoveries of men, the drink was enriched with spices and sugar to become the sweet, warm and comforting drink that we know.
Accompanied by a guide, you will rediscover the first uses of the cocoa bean, from Aztec religious ceremonies to the rituals of the Spanish court, but above all you will try to reproduce the ancestral recipes that have traveled through history and continents.
Join us on Saturday, September 21 to enjoy this timeless event with family or friends that will take you on a journey through the civilizations of cocoa... Departures at 14:30 p.m. and 16 p.m. Reservations at 05.53.51.81.53 - Limited number of places.
