Come to the Fan Zone, at Espace Derichebourg on September 04, 05 and 07, 2024 to encourage Mathieu in his handbike para-cycling competitions which will take place in Paris!
This event is open to everyone, whether you are passionate about sport or simply looking for strong emotions, come and vibrate to the rhythm of the races!

Mathieu Bosredon was born on July 15, 1992 in Brive-La-Gaillarde. Paralyzed since the age of 4, he began his rehabilitation through swimming. It was at the age of 14 that Mathieu tried para cycling. It was then a revelation for him. He finds in sport an escape and an inexhaustible source of motivation. No matter the pain, no matter the sacrifices, Mathieu always wants to go further and constantly push the limits. It becomes one with the bike. His dream: to participate in the Paralympic Games.
He was crowned French champion 13 times at the age of 32. Not selected for the London Games in 2012, his perseverance and daring allowed him to shine in 2015 with his first world medal.
The reward is there, Mathieu participates the following year in the Paralympic Games in Rio. Aligned with the online race in category H4, the handbiker failed to reach one place on the podium. Enough to give him annoyance to progress with a view to the Tokyo Games.
In 2023 he won the gold medal at the European Championships in the H4 road race after being a silver medalist at the world championship in two disciplines (H4 time trial and H4 road race).
The para-cycling events (on the road) in Paris will be held from 4 7 in September 2024 with a range of 7 to 10 hours of competition per day. On the program of events, an adapted course of 13,9 km and 140 m of positive altitude difference which will take the paracyclists from Clichy-sous-Bois towards Coubron before reaching Seine-et-Marne. “It promises to be dynamic, promising intense competition!” according to the press release from France Paralympics.
