As Black Friday approaches and sales are pouring in from all sides, the 100% Gaillard Boutique takes the opposite approach with a profoundly different concept. The “100% gaillard” territorial brand is much more than a traditional brand!

In addition to its involvement in the promotion of our territory, “100% gaillard” is engaged in a eco-responsible approach which responds to the future challenges of our society.

For more than 5 years, we have chosen to organic, environmentally friendly materials which have a real impact on the survival of our planet:

a reduced carbon footprint,
a controlled water management through more suitable irrigation techniques,
a traceability of manufacturing circuits subject to different labels,
a ban on the use of various harmful solvents ....

You too can participate in all this by purchasing our items, we'll explain it all to you in detail:

ORGANIC COTTON:

Coming from a natural agricultural culture, choosing organic cotton means excluding pesticides, synthetic chemical fertilizers and GMOs.

Choosing organic cotton means participating in fair trade and helping India (the largest organic producer) by offering real working conditions, ensuring real pay, prohibiting child labor and allowing access to schooling for the children of employees of these factories labeled by the FAIRWAY Foundation.

RECYCLED POLYESTER:

Recycling plastic bottles and fabric scraps with 100% recycled polyester means taking action to reduce waste, reuse natural materials and limit the amount of plastic in our oceans.

It also means 50% less energy in production, a responsible choice that must continue its path towards more committed eco-responsibility.

SORONA:

It is an innovative material (from a molecule obtained using glucose from corn) which replaces nylon, a very polluting material, and especially animal down which is usually found in various items such as down jackets.

Now, Sorona allows us to respect animals by completely dissociating ourselves from battery farming and the painful techniques that geese and ducks undergo.

To date, there is no such thing as "responsible down", sorona is the best alternative.

LYOCELL:

We remain respectful of the animal by banning silk from our items, we opt for Lyocell which is a textile fiber made from wood cellulose (eucaplyptus, oak, birch, etc.) obtained using a 100% organic solvent.

The cultivation of these trees used for Lyocell is a limited and reasoned production respecting the codes of silviculture
