Where to watch Rugby World Cup matches?

The Rugby World Cup is an opportunity to share your passion for rugby with other fans, to discuss the matches and experience the collective excitement. To fully enjoy the event, the ideal is to watch the matches on giant screens in the dedicated fan zones or in the bars which broadcast the matches. 

In this article, we present to you the list of establishments which, to our knowledge, broadcast the matches. This list will be updated as information becomes available to us.

Fan zones

  • Objat: the Objatoise USJO rugby association will broadcast all the matches of the French team at the city's convention hall. Free entry. Refreshment bar with on-site catering.

  • Brive-La-Gaillarde. : no fan zone planned for the moment.

Bars and pubs

  • The ephemeral Bodega Cartouche et Cravate offers you the opportunity to follow all the matches of the French team on the big screen (Boulevard Voltaire, facing La Piscine): its concept? Combine beer (La Banou) and rugby. For the catering part, you can taste grilled meats and seafood from Brive merchants.
  • The Watson : All World Cup matches will be projected on the big screen installed in front of the bar as well as on the two inside. (With the exception of matches scheduled for 13 p.m.).
  • The Office : it's the perfect place to fully experience the atmosphere of rugby matches. On the menu: good food, giant screens and a crazy atmosphere. 
  • Le Café de Paris : Broadcast of Matches throughout the World Cup in partnership with Ricard. Atmosphere guaranteed!
  • La Banou : Throughout the month of September and October La Banou offers broadcasts of World Cup matches! On the program: tapas, craft beers and a crazy atmosphere to vibrate as if you were there.
  • Garden Ice Coffee : La Brasserie will broadcast the World Cup matches and you will be able to enjoy the new menu and the new decor of this establishment! You can even win official jerseys and balls via the page Instagram
  • La Brasserie Toulzac has prepared for the World Cup: broadcast of the matches on a giant screen and possible tasting of an aperitif basket for €5. (Half at 3€ and pint at 5€). 
  • Cafe des Halles : Watch the Rugby World Cup in full on indoor and outdoor screens. And what's more, a competition is organized to win the official Blues jersey! See conditions on Facebook. 
  • The Barrio : The Barrio is the place to be for the adrenaline of rugby. All France matches are broadcast indoors and outdoors. You can take the opportunity to enjoy tapas and cocktails. Book your place from now !
