An investigation for what purpose?

  • First piloted in 2019 by the CRT Nouvelle Aquitaine with the collaboration of the BVA research firm, this survey had to be stopped following the health crisis. It was relaunched at the end of 2024 and will run for approximately one year.

  • The results will allow us to qualify the tourists of our destination according to several indicators: geographical origin, places and length of stay, type of accommodation, activities practiced, general satisfaction, modes of transport used, expenses incurred, etc.

  • The quality of the sample will play a key role in the development and reliability of the results: certain indicators could reveal GHG emissions as well as the economic benefits of tourist activity linked to the destination.

  • More generally, good knowledge of our customers is fundamental to making any tourist decision and action for the territory.
