Aubazine Abbey

Cistercian abbey from the 1th century, classified as a historic monument. Discover its history and that of its founder Etienne d'Obazine. Guided tours of the cloister and its monolithic fountain, terrace with a view of the fishpond where the monks' canal arrives, of the scriptorium and the chapter house with their harmonious vaults, of the old kitchen with its imposing fireplace, of the XNUMXst floor corridor old monks' dormitory.

May 1, May 08 and 09, 2024: visits at 11 a.m. and 15 p.m. CLOSED ON PENTECOST MONDAY MAY 20, 2024. No guided tour on June 23, 2024 but free access to the garden (Garden Festival). Thursday August 15: visit at 15 p.m. only. Heritage Days on September 21 and 22, 2024 (program to come). Weekend of October 4, 5 and 6, 2024: S4A Salon Artisanat d'Art de l'Aubazine Abbey (abbey with free access so no visits and visits guided).
