Puy d'Yssandon orientation table

The Puy d'Yssandon offers a remarkable panorama embracing the Brive Basin, the Monédières, the Monts d'Auvergne, the Causses and the Périgord plateaus, identifiable using the orientation table. The plateau at the top of the mound offers multiple viewpoints, we can also see the remains of the old feudal enclosure. The bottom of the slopes is planted with walnut trees while the steep parts are colonized by downy oaks and pines; on the south and east slopes, the forest is less dominant, it leaves large spaces for meadows, vines, plum trees and walnut trees.
