The 48 hours of urban agriculture

This event supervised by the AFAUP (French Association of Professional Urban Agriculture) has been organized since 2016.

Like last year, Brive-La-Gaillarde will host the 48 hours of Urban Agriculture on April 29 and 30, 2023. Many activities are planned.

Photo exhibition at the Campus du Végétal in Voutezac : The Gourmet Hedge. Béatrice Masson offers you a certain perspective on Biodiversity in the garden through her photographs. Meet in the old 1900 greenhouse at the edge of the departmental road which leads to Voutezac. Our advice: park in the visitor parking lot of the Murat agricultural high school.
Film debate at the Rex: “The Beautiful City” Manon and François propel you into the heart of their inspiring journey to the four corners of the world. They offer you their vision of the beautiful city of tomorrow, through the meeting of ordinary people, with revolutionary initiatives, which reconnect People, Cities and Nature.
Debate following the screening moderated by Virginie de Andrade (Le Champ des Villes) and Emmanuel Coulombs (Le Campus du Végétal). To 19h.

Meet at Kiosque de la Guierle HQ all day.

Vermicomposter and seed bomb workshop at the Gaube educational garden. LE CHAMP DES VILLES in partnership with LE SIRTOM, invites you to come and make your Vermicomposter at the Gaube Educational Garden. You will leave with your composter at the end of the workshop. Discoveries of “wild” plants in the urban area (edible, medicinal)
Meet at 14:30 p.m. in front of Brive station as part of the 48 hours of urban agriculture project, with Le Jardin Sauvage and Le Champ des Villes for a walk to discover the edible and/or medicinal plants that you can find within the urbanity of Brive… (“les sauvageonnes”)
