La Corderie Palus labeled “Living Heritage Company”

Created 1908 the Corderie Palus, located in Saint-Pantaléon-de-Larche, is an artisanal and traditional “long-term” rope factory.
His particuliarity ? This is the last workshop in France, 280m long capable of working over such great lengths! Its products are used in the world of livestock breeding, lumbering, vineyards and arboriculture, flour milling, packaging twine, upholsterers, plumbing and sports.
A tradition that is perpetuated day after day through meticulous work using natural fibers such as hemp, sisal, jute and cotton.
La Corderie has just obtained the precious State label "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant"(EPV) established to distinguish French companies and excellent industrial and artisanal know-how, for a period of 5 years.
The characteristics of the “Living Heritage Company” label
Created in 2005, the EPV label aims to highlight companies that work for innovation, tradition, know-how, creative spirit, Made in France heritage.
It is the only State label awarded to a company for its entire activity:
- high performance of the profession, of the products,
- particular attention to internal training,
- a technically and socially innovative approach,
- a dynamic commercial strategy.
- It guarantees the excellence of its know-how.
The label's commitment:
Whatever their size, their notoriety and their specialties, the EPVs together watch over a treasure, that of French heritage and know-how.
By using a certified company, clients support the maintenance and development of these so-called prestige activities and thus reinforce long-term, non-relocated jobs.
Palus rope making: cutting-edge technology
These companies are capable of working on non-standard projects, responding to the most original orders, and offering unique and tailor-made solutions to satisfy the most demanding needs and the most demanding customers. In all areas, from tradition or cutting-edge techniques, these companies have a common talent: that of offering a tailor-made service, the unobtainable item.
Very nice collaborations have already been achieved with a Haute Couture house or even with the Corderie Royale de Rochefort.

- Tuesday, April 16 at 14:30 p.m.
- Tuesday May 14 at 14:30 p.m.
- Tuesday June 11 at 14:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 16 at 14:30 p.m.
These visits will be carried out by Mr. Assolari. Meet directly at the Corderie.
