Do you like climbing? Then you will love the new features of the Base!

The Via Ferrata of the La Roche site

Since spring, the via ferrata at the La Roche site (Allassac) has officially reopened its doors. For this activity of approximately 2 hours, knowledge of climbing is required, the objective being to fully enjoy the sensations offered by the route. Among the 30 in New Aquitaine, the via ferrata at the La Roche site does not lack qualities: monkey bridge, large net to cross, zip line... several surprises are hidden on the route before arriving at one of the most beautiful roofs of Corrèze. At the end of the route, a bird's eye view of the Saillant dam will leave you speechless.

Useful information :

  • The activity can be done with children (minimum height required: 130 cm) who already have some knowledge of climbing.
  • The Base offers rental of the necessary equipment - €15/person: helmet, pulley, harness, lanyard.
  • Supervision can be requested for a group of 8 people.

A new climbing wall

Still outdoors, the very recent climbing wall is not to be outdone!

18 different routes and 13 anchor routes, who could say better? The climbing wall installed in the open air (right next to the Base reception) is impressive, and not only thanks to its majestic 10 meters! A true tool for performance and sensations, the climbing wall is accessible thanks to the supervised activities proposed by the Base.

In total, no less than 8 slots are offered throughout the summer (4 in the month of August). Patience, self-control and concentration are all qualities you will need to walk this wall!
