From March 20 to 26, 2024, you can attend the Brive Short Film Festival. On the program: screenings, workshops and meetings in different places in the city.

Detailed program of the Short Film Festival

  • Wednesday, March 20 : from 14 p.m. to 16:30 p.m. at the Brive Cultural Center, screening of the program: Cinema is fantastic. Followed by a film special effects workshop. Workshop led by Claire Belin - Free - From 8 years old. Reservation at 05.55.74.20.51

  • Thursday March 21 from 9 p.m. : "Behind the screen", proposed by students from the IUT GEA in Brive, in the presence of Manon Delauge, short fiction support fund project manager for ALCA (Agence Livre et Cinéma de Nouvelle-Aquitaine). Screening followed by a round table on the discovery of cinema professions. In collaboration with Les Yeux Verts and the ALCA. Free. At the Rex.

  • Vendredi March 22 at 20:30 : As the Paris Olympics approach, the Rex de Brive offers you a program of short films offering a look at different Olympic disciplines. Meeting and discussion following the screening with Philippe LESCURE, Honorary President of the French Triathlon Federation and Deputy Mayor of the City of Brive in charge of Culture.

  • Tuesday March 26 : at 18:30 p.m. at Coloc Marbeau (14, Boulevard Docteur Marbeau), Spanish inn movie evening. Program screening “Cinéma de la Réunion, Nou lé la!”. Followed by a meal where everyone wears whatever they want. Free - All audiences

  • From March 20 to 26 at the Rex Cinema : All week, discover two short films from the students' baccalaureate in the audiovisual cinema section of the Lycée d'Arsonval in advance of your film. : RESPECT by Solène Amavasee, Océane Gauthier and Ludivine Malbec and THE CURSE OF THE SHAMBLES by Mélissa Rougeot and Juliette Veyriere.
