Stage in Corrèze for the Tour du Limousin 2024

The 57th edition of the Tour du Limousin is scheduled for August 13 to 16, 2024 with a start from The Mansac River on August 15 .

What is the Tour du Limousin?

  • The Tour du Limousin is a cycling race created in 1968. In 1975, it became professional and crisscrossed the roads of Haute-Vienne, Corrèze and Creuse, with forays into Dordogne in recent years.
  • This tour, made up of 4 stages, covers 710 kilometers. 120 municipalities in Dordogne, Haute-Vienne, Creuse and Corrèze will be crossed by cyclists.
  • Thursday, August 15, the cyclists will set off for this 3rd stage, on the Corrèze roads, starting from  The Mansac River and will arrive at Argentat - Xaintrie Val'Dordogne. A hilly connection which promises to be the queen stage of this edition.
    Activities at La Rivière de Mansac: possibility of attending in the morning the presentation of the teams involved and the cyclists, of having autographs signed, of seeing the athletes prepare for the start. A lap is planned at the Rivière de Mansac before the peloton sets off towards the north of the department.

The Tour du Limousin 2024 circuit

Find each of the 4 stages of the race: 

  1. The big start will take place on Tuesday August 13 from Boisseuil which will host the Tour for the very first time. After 172 km, the finish of this first stage will be in Auzance, in Creuse.
  2. The second stage will be 100% Périgord and will connect Saint-Aulaye - Puymangou to Terrasson-Lavilledieu. 190 km are on the program.
  3. The third day, 180 km between La Rivière de Mansac and Argentat - Xaintrie Val'Dordogne. 
  4. The last day will be classic with 168 km between Oradour-sur-Glane, which will commemorate in 2024 the 80th anniversary of its massacre, and Limoges for the traditional arrival on the Boulevard de Beaublanc after three laps of the circuit.
