After Juillac and Ussac, the Land of Art and History Vézère Slate, has joined forces with Chanteix Town Hall to offer a new edition of this participatory Festival of Lights.
January 26 and 27, from 19 p.m., the public will be able to wander freely and discover the light installations spread throughout Chanteix.
A map and signage present on site will guide visitors who will be able to (re)discover the heritage of the village: the Town Hall, the St-Julien church, the Chestnut Dryer, the wells...
This Festival of Lights initiated by the Pays d'Art et d'Histoire Vézère Ardoise is a collaborative project carried out in partnership with the municipality, local associations, schools, residents, local businesses and shops.
The first two editions were a great success
From November to the end of January, artists from Corrèze led free workshops for the general public. Objective: create luminous works to highlight the heritage of Chanteix.
These artists and artisans come from different backgrounds and have complementary approaches.
