Museum Night

Published on May 3, 2024 by Marie-Laure

Museum night will take place on 18th May 2024 : the unique opportunity to discover or rediscover the museums of your city or region in a festive and friendly way, by sharing a cultural moment with other art and heritage enthusiasts.

What is Museum Night?

Museum Night is an annual cultural event that takes place in many countries around the world, usually in May. During this night, museums open their doors free of charge to the public in the evening, offering the opportunity to discover their collections and exhibitions in a different way.

On Museum Night, museums often offer special activities for visitors, such as guided tours, shows, workshops for children and film screenings. This night is also an opportunity for museums to present their collections in an original and fun way, for example using light shows or artistic installations.
