Come and enjoy these show visits every Wednesday evening from July 6 to August 24, 2022 at the Château de Hautefort. You will discover the places differently, where ghosts come to meet a poet and his muse who tell the history of the place.

The Concept

This theatrical evening, every Wednesday this summer, will allow you to meet the beautiful Eleanor of Aquitaine, the intriguing Marie de Hautefort and the generous Baroness de Bastard... Around twenty extras illustrate the great moments in the history of castle, all to the rhythm of ancient and contemporary music. Experience a lively walk where the ghosts of the castle pass each other smoothly in their period costume! Travel through time, accompanied by colorful characters!

Speakers

The narrator: Christian Croset whose voice will not be unknown to you since he regularly records for France Culture, has decided to conquer the Château de Hautefort and invites you to combine the history of the place and his love of poetry...
Vittoretti artist and musician, passionate about theater, sometimes accompanies Christian Crozet to the crystalline sound of his harp or responds brilliantly.

Donatien CroseA talented young musician, has already composed for Isabelle Adjani and Olivier Steiner... the piano was his source of inspiration and struggle to face life. His original creations for the Château de Hautefort enrich the already unusual offering of this lively route.
Clémentine Chaumereuil which for the first time is showing in Périgord its collection of 250 outfits inspired by the XNUMXth century (see costumes and chateaux.com). She invites you to have your photo taken alone, with friends or family, in a costume of your choice, recreating animated scenes. Exceptionally, the Château de Hautefort will be the setting for his photos (limited number of places and upon registration at costumes.et.chateaux@gmail.com) to offer you unforgettable memories like your portrait in the precious Monsieur's Room or in the imposing fireplace room or in the marvelous French gardens
