Leisure bike tour In the land of apples

“Discover the land of apples with your tribe, departing from the town of Ayen! The route, accessible to as many people as possible, offers a multitude of landscapes over 11 km 700. The circuit will please young and old alike!

Starting point of the circuit, Ayen is the highest point in the Yssandonnais region with an altitude of 370 m. This micro-region is characterized by colorful landscapes, local buildings constructed from red sandstone and more whitish sandstone, the presence of numerous apple orchards as well as numerous walnut groves. Some communes (including Ayen) in Issandonnais are also listed on the routes of Pomme du Limousin and Noix du Périgord, two AOP labeled productions.
