Le Forestier

The route offers a mix of orchards, meadows, forest and stream. View of the hills bordering the Dordogne (Hautefort castle), then wide panorama from the north to the limestone hills of Ayen and Saint Robert to the south. Then descend towards the stream and climb back into the forest. The walk can be extended with a stroll through the streets of Juillac among the characterful houses with slate roofs.
