Noailles Castle
NOAILLES
The castle located in the commune of Noailles south of Brive, is linked to the history of the famous Dukes of Noailles, in Renaissance style was built in the 14th century, burned down in 1789 then rehabilitated in the 19th century by Alexis de Noailles.
Located within a park, it consists of a central body flanked by two rectangular machicoulis towers: that of Lignérac and that of Noailles.
On its facade, you can admire windows topped with pinnacles, decorated by angels in medallions bearing the arms of the Noailles, known as “mouth with gold band”.
