The church, of Romanesque construction, dates from the 1732th century. It is a building with a cupola without a dome, with twin arches under arcades and projecting cornices. It has two side chapels, built later. The southern one is the oldest, the northern one only dates back to XNUMX; some inhabitants of the parish had undertaken to finance the work by reserving the right of burial there.

Certain noble families were buried under the chapels and children under the sacristy until 1778. For hygienic measures, this tradition was suppressed in 1778. The slabs of these graves were torn up during the Revolution and were then used to redo the steps of the staircase.

We can notice a cross remaining on the first step. Emma Laffon and Michel Soulié offered a stained glass window for the northern chapel: St Michael slaying the dragon, on the occasion
