Sector flagships

Our region is the location of numerous food processing companies which either cook finished products or supply major brands with the ingredients for their recipes.
Some of these companies have grown here to become flagships of the sector, others have come to take advantage of our reputation and the quality of local agricultural production.

The story could have been quite different for our department. We were lucky enough to see the railway lines installed on our land. This event allowed the operations already present to evolve by exporting, while attracting other factories. Currently, our location as a gateway to the South-West at the crossroads of the North-South and East-West highways means we are always well positioned for this sector of activity.

Andros, Blédina and Pierrot Gourmand represent the flagships of our economy. 
Other companies also make our region famous: Francep, Delvert, Denoix, Bellet, Ponthier, Bovetti, Perlim and Bijou for its famous madeleines.
