At the top of the Lighthouse, place de la Guierle in Brive-La-Gaillarde

99 steps to being a Gaillard!

An unmissable viewpoint because it is unique in the Cité Gaillarde, we invite you to climb to the top of our “ Lighthouse »…which is not one! Located on the largest square in Brive, Place de la Guierle, the tourist office reception point strangely resembles a lighthouse but history will reveal its real original function.

The only tide that it “illuminates” is the crowd, present on Saturday mornings at the market, under and next to the Brassens hall. You can access its summit to contemplate the slate roofs of the city and possibly discover a temporary exhibition within it.

Open every day in summer, during opening hours from the tourist office. Ask reception staff for access.
