Le Saillant is a hamlet which is located astride the Vézère, one foot in the town of Voutezac and the other well anchored in Allassac. A magnificent bridge connects the two banks, at the outlet of the Vézère gorges, downstream of the hydroelectric dam. A center of open nature, the places constituting the Salient are starting points for numerous mountain bike circuits or orienteering courses!
