Halloween at Colette Gardens
During the Autumn holidays, come and celebrate Halloween at Colette Gardens from 25 October to 5 November 2023 !
10 minutes from Brive-la-Gaillarde, enjoy a monstrously recreational program to share with family or friends in a park entirely decorated in Halloween colors concocted by the Gardens team.
Every year, the Gardens offer activities that appeal to children.
Show
During the Halloween festivities, the Jardins de Colette are planning a show for the whole family which takes place at the Kiosk, outdoors:
- the company Circus area present " MALDEMERT THE PIRATE", embark on a lovely musical tale where poetry mixes with humor and where adventure becomes song. From 3 years old.
Show dates and times:
- Wednesday October 25 at 15 p.m.
- Sunday October 29 at 15 p.m.
- Tuesday October 31 at 14 p.m. and 16 p.m.
- Wednesday November 1st at 15 p.m.
Special Halloween treasure hunts
This treasure hunt is offered to you from October 25 to November 5 from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m. in paper format.
Halloween Makeup
Who says Halloween, says disguise and transformations. Makeup artists are present in the Gardens for the occasion and offer to do magnificent makeup free of charge.
Pumpkin decoration
Scary pumpkins, smiling pumpkins.... You're the artist! Les Jardins de Colette offers pumpkin decorating workshops (fee) during the All Saints' Day holidays. You decorate them and you leave with them.
Special Halloween ticket office
Remember to book your tickets in advance to avoid waiting too long at the entrance on the day of your visit. Look carefully at the program for the different days, there are days with makeup and/or shows but not all. Remember to select the correct date (in the reservation module at the top left) so that we can welcome you in the best conditions. We thank you in advance and see you soon!

Labyrinth Nights “Where is Alice?” - October 27 and 28
Two exceptional evenings on the theme ofAlice in Wonderland are offered to you 27 and 28 October . Go on an adventure at nightfall in the heart of the giant labyrinth!
History
The famous Alice has been captured by the Queen of Hearts! Alice needs your help to escape because the gate to Wonderland has been boarded up!
To find Alice and help her escape from the evil queen's kingdom, you must venture into the giant maze and solve puzzles. Meeting certain characters from Wonderland will allow you to thwart the plans of the Queen of Hearts and her guards!
Booking
Reservations required for these two evenings only by telephone on 05 55 86 75 35. The game slots run from 19 p.m. to 22 p.m. (last entry). Please respect the times which will be given to you when you make your reservation.
Furthermore, it is specified that minors must be accompanied by an adult. And a very useful tip: remember to bring a flash light !
Terms of Access
- Le “Entertainment” rate" will be applied only to days with show et for the two nights of the labyrinth. Classic rates on other days.
- During school holidays, the Gardens are open every day of 10h to 18h. Don't hesitate to take your picnic to enjoy the day's activities.
- No reservations for daytime visits.
- Entrance ticket on site or online on the Jardins de Colette website.

Our tip Butterflies in Colette Gardens
Combining literature and botany is the challenge that the Jardins de Colette in Varetz invite you to take on. It is in the elegant castle of Castel Novel that the writer, known for her love for nature, lived with her husband. You're ready ? In addition to the superb gardens, a butterfly-shaped maze will make you lose your compass. Once released, you can have a family picnic among the trees and have fun with the XXL-sized games. Not to mention the Halloween activities...
