Well dance now!

27 May 2023 open scenes return for a second edition. Following COVID, “Danse en Mai” reinvented itself in 2022 and the open stages were maintained for one day, thus offering a spotlight on amateur dancers.

For this new edition, the Guierle garden is transformed into a real village dedicated to dance: a podium and a dance floor will be set up and the kiosk will be used.

The concept

L’Empreinte, associations and the conservatory are mobilizing for this event.
Nearly 600 amateur dancers will take turns under the century-old plane trees of Parc de la Guierle from 10 a.m. to 18:30 p.m.
All dances will be represented: Bourrée, hip-hop, tap, tango, classical dance...
The Bordeaux collective Ussé Inné, invited by l'Empreinte will close the day with a participatory project "Boom!", inviting amateurs and curious passers-by in a joyful collective choreography.

Final

The Ussé Inné collective will lead fans and curious passers-by in a joyful choreography entitled “Boom!” at 18:30 p.m.

A drinking water point will be made available at the reception stand shared between the Municipal Office of Culture and Empreinte.
