Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 5 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 1 glass of milk
  • Butter for the mold
  • 500 g cherries
  • Preparation time : 10 mins
  • Cooking time : 30 mins
  • To 6 people

Preparation of clafoutis

  • Break the eggs into a salad bowl and whisk
  • Add the sugar while continuing to whisk
  • Add the flour and stir
  • Pour in the milk and stir until you obtain a smooth paste.
  • Generously butter a mold and place the washed and hulled cherries. (We do not remove the stones! the flavor will only be better)
  • Put in the oven for 10 mins at 210° then 20 mins at 180°
  • Once out of the oven, sprinkle with sugar
  • Enjoy warm or cold depending on your taste!

Tip: you can use the same paste with other fruits (apples, pears, peaches, etc.), but in Gaillard country we will no longer call it a clafoutis but a flognarde !
