We offer you a delicious dessert recipe that combines chestnuts and chocolate and which will comfort you on cold autumn days. 

Ingredients

  • 1kg of chestnuts
  • 1 gousse de vanille
  • Milk
  • 250g of butter
  • 150g sugar
  • 250g de chocolat noir
  • Preparation time : 20 mins
  • Cooking time : 0 mins

Prep time

  • Place 1kg of blanched chestnuts in a saucepan with a vanilla pod, cover with milk and cook until the milk is absorbed. Then pass through a potato masher, incorporating 250g of melted butter and 150g of caster sugar.
  • Melt 250g of dark chocolate, add half of the chestnut puree and pour the mixture into an oiled mold.
  • Cover with the rest of the puree.
  • Leave to cool for a few hours.
  • Serve with custard or whipped cream.
