Walnut cake
It's the cake that Corrézienne grandmothers make for their little guys' birthdays, a must-have in the Brive region! The Périgord walnut is appreciated by the whole family.
Ingredients
- 1 glass of kernels blended
- 250 grams of sugar
- 250 grams of flour
- 4 eggs
- ½ glass of walnut oil
- ½ glass of white wine
- ½ glass of water
- 1 baking powder
- Salt
- Preparation time : 10 mins
- Cooking time : 50 mins
- To 6 people
Prep time
- Dissolve eggs and sugar, add white wine, a pinch of salt, the kernels passed in a blender, oil, yeast and flour.
- Place in a buttered mold for 50 minutes in a medium oven.
