Gardens

The gardens are designed as a tribute to Colette and all the places where she lived. This 5 ha floral park takes you on an endearing journey to Burgundy (native region), then to Franche-Comté (during her marriage to Willy), to Brittany, to Corrèze (where her daughter Bel-Gazou was born), in Provence (where she met her last husband). Finally, the journey ends at the Garden of the Royal Palace where she died.

The maze

The butterfly-shaped maze extends over an area of 5000 m² for the pleasure of young and old adventurers!

Go on an adventure in these wicker aisles and be smart: during your journey, you will come across 5 doors (including two water doors) and to open them, you will have to solve puzzles....

Games for the whole family

Between the forest with bells, dominoes, jenga, Mikado and Morpion games that punctuate the gardens, children will not notice time passing and older ones will find their child's soul again.

Another space is dedicated to the schoolgirl Claudine, a character created by Colette. A schoolyard invites you to rediscover children's games: skipping ropes, bungee games, marble runs or even playing tag...

Finally, a treasure hunt is available to children. They are invited to carry out an investigation with the notorious detective Labigle. You have to solve a puzzle by finding friends from the gardens hidden along the route. A reward awaits you upon arrival!
