What water activities at Lake Causse?

In Terre Gaillarde, summers can be very hot and temperatures often exceed 30°. Also, the practice of nautical or aquatic activities is very sought after. And that’s good because you will be spoiled for choice at Causse Lake !

Swimming at Lake Causse

For lovers of sunbathing or beach play activities, there are two large sandy beaches around Lake Causse: Peupliers beach, near the water sports center and Moulin beach, with a play area set up for children .

The swimming area at Moulin beach is supervised every day from July 7 to September 3, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 19 p.m. by lifeguards.
The water is checked regularly to ensure its quality and guarantee safe swimming.

Fishing – The House of Water and Fishing at Moulin de Lissac

Its mission is education, awareness and expertise in the aquatic environment. This involves, among other things, fishing courses and activities/awareness raising aimed at various audiences (children and adults). The values of passion, rigor and sharing influence and guide the actions undertaken by this association.

Fisherman friends, discovery sessions of coarse fishing for 7-12 year olds are scheduled: technique and practice of coarse fishing without forgetting the knowledge and understanding of the aquatic environment!

For older children, fishing courses and support: fly fishing for trout and grayling, lure fishing for predators. All levels, adults and teenagers.

Activities on the water

Lake Causse offers the possibility of practicing numerous activities: paddle boarding, canoeing , rowing, pedal boats, introduction to sailing, water skiing, towed buoy…Are you not equipped? Recall : you must wear a vest in all your water activities: paddle, canoe, rowing, etc.
