Patrick Sébastien 

The host-impersonator was born on November 14, 1953 in Brive-la-Gaillarde and grew up in Juillac. His career began in 1974 as an impersonator before becoming a TV host, then a singer-songwriter but also a writer.

Despite his entry into showbiz, Patrick Sébastien does not forget his birthplace and strives to make it known, particularly through sport and rugby. So in 1995, he became president of CA Brive after having been a player there during the 1970s. In 1997, he saw the club's European coronation and in 1999, he even went so far as to celebrate his wedding vows on the stadium lawn. from Brive. After a break of several years, he returned to the head of the CAB in 2007 as honorary president before a definitive break in 2009. 

Today, Patrick Sébastien no longer lives in Brive, or even in Corrèze. It is located in the Lot, near Martel. Not so far from Pays Gaillard after all…

The stylist was born on December 13, 1991 in Brive-la-Gaillarde and grew up in Sainte-Féréole. A student at the La Calade vocational high school in Marseille then at the La Cambre visual arts school in Brussels, she is passionate about fashion and completed internships in the most prestigious fashion houses such as Dior, Margiela and Alexender McQueen.

In 2017, she won the LVMH young designer prize as well as a grant allowing her to develop her own collection. His work is based on a hybrid and ecological vision of fashion where pride of place is given to recovered, recut and reworked fabrics. His creations are presented each season during Paris Fashion Week. They have already attracted many celebrities such as singers Beyonce and Adele.

 

Frédéric Lopez

You may not know it but the journalist, TV producer and former presenter of the show Meeting in unknown land, has its roots in Corrèze and even in Terre Gaillarde! Part of his family is, in fact, based in Allassac. It was there that he spent the first two years of his life, raised by his mother, grandmother and aunts. Subsequently, he regularly returned to Corrèze during school holidays.

Three Gourmet Cafés

It's the story of three childhood friends fromArnac-Pompadour : Mylène Madrias, intermittent performer Sébastien Gourseyrol, mathematics teacher and Jérémy Pauly, engineer who share a common passion: music. 
Initially, they covered French titles and sang them on small stages in Corrèze. Mylène, known as “Mymy” is on vocals, Jérémy and Sébastien on guitar and vocals.

In 2012, Sébastien, expatriated to Paris for his work, was nostalgic for his native Corrèze and decided to compose a song which expressed his love for Corrèze. Thus, the tube is born To our memories.

The title very quickly enjoyed unexpected success in the department and then throughout Limousin. It was therefore in 2013 that the group was officially born, which now composes its own songs. They offer French folk and variety songs, influenced by artists like Boulevard des Airs, Raphaël, Barbara, Piaf etc.

In 2018, everything accelerates, the video for their single To our memories filmed in Corrèze, has been viewed more than 74 million times, the whole of France appropriates the song to make a real everyday anthem. The same year, the group released the album An air of nothing which quickly became Platinum Disc, then Double Platinum Disc and finally Triple Platinum Disc with more than 300.000 albums sold.

Their second album, Like children, was released in 2020 and quickly became a Gold Disc with 50.000 copies sold.
