Pumpkin is the flagship vegetable of fall. Featured at Halloween, it is not just a decorative element. Its slightly sweet flesh is ideal for preparing soups, purees, gratins and even desserts.

Everything you need to know about cucurbits

The pumpkin is part of the cucurbit family, just like pumpkin or pumpkin, or even butternut squash. Rich in fiber and vitamin A, pumpkins allow you to make a very varied range of recipes, each more comforting than the next during this period of the first cold weather. Pumpkin and other pumpkins can brighten up our starters, dishes or desserts without distinction.

How to store a pumpkin?

After cleaning your pumpkin, you cut it into slices so you can peel it better and then you cut it into small cubes that you can freeze without further delay.

You can also keep it after cooking it in pieces and transforming it into soup or puree. You can then package it in small airtight containers and freeze them.
