Pumpkin can be cooked as a starter, main course and dessert! The proof with Millas, this delicious peasant cake.

Ingredients

  • 200 g pumpkin flesh
  • 2 apples
  • 75 g wheat flour
  • 75 g corn flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 dl liquid cream
  • 1 packet of yeast.
  • Optional: 4 cl of rum
  • Preparation time : 15 mins
  • Cooking time : 55 mins
  • To 6 people

Prep time

  • Cook the pumpkin in boiling water, then drain it.
  • Mix the pumpkin puree and add the flour, sugar, eggs, yeast, cream and rum (optional)
  • Cut the apples into small cubes and add them to the preparation. Mix everything well.
  • Butter a cake mold, place the dough and bake for around 35/40 minutes in a medium oven, 180°.
