Branceilles wines
After winning the bronze medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1878, Branceilles wine fell into oblivion, victim of phylloxera. Eight farmers revived it in 1987, naming it “1001 stones» in memory of the ingratitude of the soil. The vineyard (45% Cabernet Franc, 30% Gamay and 25% Merlot) produces 200 bottles of red, rosé and white wine.
Independent winegrowers Carine and Philippe Sagaz have also taken over in Branceilles, the PIERRO vineyard (IGP Pays de Brive and AOP Corrèze wine in organic farming).
