Our best ToHPs

In Gaillarde land our ToHPs (Tourist Hospitality Point) are your friends! And you won't find one like this anywhere else, we promise you.

What is a ToHP?

It is a Tourist Hospitality Point, that is to say a tourist information relay.

Who is it?

The ToHP can be a grocery store, a bakery, a café, a town hall, a postal agency, a press house... an emblematic place in the village that tourists cannot avoid!

What is their use?

They are committed to give visitors information about their own village.

How?

With the tourist documentation of the village and the territory made available by the Tourist Office.

Why ToPHs?

For several years a significant drop in attendance at tourist information offices has questionned the funding of seasonal positions to staff them.
An uneven presence of tourist information on our territory.
The tourist's expectation of finding: services and places of life in which he can spend a friendly time during his visit.
Have a drink, be able to eat, have a snack, buy a small souvenir, etc. all while having tourist information and a local who welcomes you “at home” and gives you advice on how to discover his or her territory!
This is what will satisfy the tourist and what he will remember!

BECAUSE A GOOD WELCOME IS EVERYONE’S BUSINESS!
