“Rendez-vous aux jardins” allows visitors to discover the gardens from a new angle according to the chosen theme. This 20th edition will be held from June 2 to 4, 2023 and the theme chosen this year is: “Garden music”.
The program of our partner gardens:
Colette Gardens (19240 - Varetz):
This year is the opportunity to celebrate 150 years since the birth of our famous Colette. To liven up these 3 days we offer several meetings:
- Friday June 2 :
From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., on the occasion of this national tribute to Colette, France Bleu will relocate its radio set in the heart of the Gardens with many guests and activities. Saturday June 3 :
- At 15h, intervention by Dominique Gaudefroy “Plants and insects, a combination to imagine” (duration 1 hour)
- At 16 o'clock - Guided Tour in the footsteps of the novelist Colette (duration 1h)- Sunday, June 4 :
- 14 p.m .: Guided tour in the footsteps of the novelist Colette (duration 1h)
- 14 p.m .: Card making workshop for children around flowers with Joëlle Berestoff (duration 1h15)
- 16 p.m .: Visit-Meeting with the head gardener of the Jardins de Colette
Also take advantage of this weekend to make your inner child grow! Discover our giant retro games, without forgetting our labyrinth and treasure hunt by Detective Labigle... Good times of laughter and sharing with family or friends in perspective!
The gardens are open from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m. without interruption, picnics and dogs are welcome in the park.

The Sothys Contemporary Botanical Gardens (Auriac - 19220)
- You can visit the Sothys Gardens from 10 a.m. to 19 p.m. from June 2 to 4. Please note that on Sunday June 4 (Mother's Day), entry will be free to all mothers. And for those who wish to eat on site, a special Mother's Day menu will be offered.

The Gardens of Hautefort Castle (24390)
Floral art animation in the company of Isabelle Rabeau, gardener: On Friday June 02, 2023 from 15:00 p.m. to 15:30 p.m., botany enthusiasts will be able to participate in a floral art activity led by Isabelle Rabeau, gardener at Château de Hautefort for 33 years. You will discover the daily life and techniques of this florist at heart who embellishes all the rooms of the castle with fresh flowers. Experience an immersion in the 3th century, with its harmonious and balanced classical architecture, its furnished apartments, its remarkable French gardens (4ha). Price: supplement of €8 to be added to the entrance ticket at €XNUMX per adult (reduced rate). All public. Reservation on site, subject to availability.
The Gardens of the Imagination (Terrasson - 24120):
- Come and discover the gardens from Wednesday to Monday from 10 a.m. to 17:30 p.m. At your own pace, accompanied by a smartphone application “Les Jardins de L'Imaginaire” which can be downloaded before your arrival, you can discover the 13 paintings. of this beautiful contemporary garden. The Water Gardens (Carsac Aillac - 24200)
- Discover the remarkable garden of Périgord from 10 a.m. to 19 p.m. A true aquatic "arboretum" overlooking the wild banks of the Dordogne. Discover a collection of aquatic plants.

Meet at the Gardens in Perpezac-Le-Blanc:
The Friends of Perpezac-le-Blanc invite nature and painting enthusiasts to come and party, the 3 June 2023.
- Opening of remarkable private gardens in the old town (10 a.m. - 18:30 p.m.)
- guided tour of the botanical trail at 15 p.m.,
- artistic performance by Bas-Limousin painters from 10 a.m. to 16 p.m. (exhibition and award ceremony by the jury at 18:30 p.m.),
- recital of the choirs of Brignac-la-Plaine at 17 p.m.,
- discovery of the heritage and landscape riches of Perpezac-le-Blanc.
