The Tour de France Women in Corrèze

The 2023 women's cycling Tour de France will cross Corrèze and will honor two of the most beautiful villages in France on July 25: Collonges-La-Rouge (start of the 3rd stage) and Saint-Robert.  

Inaugurated in 2022, this new edition of the Tour de France women will leave from Clermont-Ferrand and reach Pau after a week and a passage in the Pyrenees (July 23 - 30, 2023).

Corrèze in the spotlight

After a brief foray into Corrèze on July 24 and more precisely to Bort-Les-Orgues during the second stage, the runners will arrive in Nouvelle-Aquitaine on Tuesday July 25. Indeed, the 3rd stage will lead the peloton from Collonges la Rouge à Montignac-Lascaux. 

This 147 km event will highlight two villages classified among the most beautiful in France:  Collonges-La-Rouge et Saint-Robert. The stage will also pass through Perpezac-le-Noir and Arnac-Pompadour.

Collonges-La-Rouge

From 10 a.m. on 25/07 and all day long, activities will be offered for the whole family: local producers' market, music groups, bicycle-related activities, restaurant areas, live broadcast on the giant screen of the stage of the day.

The 2023 women's Tour de France will pass through Collonges-La-Rouge and St Robert.

Saint-Robert

The medieval village of St-Robert, located on the heights of Yssandonnais, will also be crossed by cyclists. Don't miss the magnificent panoramas visible from the gardens behind the church and the historical circuit which allows you to discover many noble houses.

In the footsteps of the Tour de France Women: May 28, 2023

While waiting for the Tour de France to pass through Corrèze, you can take part in an organized cycling trip May 28: lin Collonges-La-Rouge - St-Robert which will take you to the Corrèze circuit of this summer's Tour de France Femmes. 

It is not a competition but a discovery of the circuit. There will therefore be no classification.

3 possible circuits on 3 different departures:

  • 1st circuit: 92 km  with a departure at 9:30 a.m. from Collonges-la-Rouge (Place du Lavoir)
  • 2nd circuit: 61 km with a departure at 10:30 a.m. from Saint-Germain-les-Vergnes (Place de la Mairie)
  • 3nd circuit: 24 km with a departure at 14 p.m. from Pompadour (Parking de la Gare)

  • Free access
  • Race open to women, men and children, licensed and non-licensed
  • Authorized electrically assisted bicycles
  • Compulsory helmet
  • medical certificate of fitness or copy of compulsory license
