The best sports holidays

On vacation, lazing around is not really your thing. Let's get moving and sweating. Know that you are in the right place!

On land, in the air and in water, the Brive region has no shortage of sporting activities to practice alone, with family or with friends. In this long list, you will inevitably find what you are looking for to make your sporting stay as successful as possible.

Sports activities on land

One of the best ways to discover Brive and its territory is probably by hiking. On foot, walking or running, riding a bike or mountain bike, explore the paths and trails to admire magnificent landscapes and a rich historical heritage.

If you want to add a little originality to your walks, why don't you try orienteering or geocaching ? Thinking, focusing and observing will be the key words of these ideal activities to do with family or friends.

Not much into hiking? Try archery, blowgun or golf. These sports are, of course, not very intense but they will require a lot of rigor and precision from you.

Sports activities in the air

Your stay in Gaillard land can be an opportunity to gain height by testing one of the many Tree Climbing trails or one of the climbing routes in the Brive region.

For more thrills (but not too much!), a first flight with a balloon flight is a good option, especially if you want to discover the south of Corrèze in a different way. You will then be able to enjoy exceptional panoramas that few people have the opportunity to see.

Water sports activities

In the Brive region, it can be hot in summer, very hot. Fortunately, we are lucky to have many places to bathing. Rivers, bodies of water, lakes, swimming pools: so much choice to splash around like a fish in water or to practice swimming like an Olympic champion!

And thanks to this diversity of aquatic environments, we have a very extensive range of water activities. For example, go down the Dordogne and the Vézère by canoeing , kayak or even raft. Otherwise, test your balance with a session of Stand up paddle or try your hand atrowing, the king of sport at the Causse lake.

And if you like to tease the fish out of the water, the Gaillard land is full of spots perfect for fishing whether sportly… or just for fun. Don't be fooled, we're just kidding!
